The Deutsche Oper invites you to an Open Afternoon to start their Opera Season 2017/18.
On Sunday, Sep 3, you can see excerpts from coming performances, take a look behind the scenes and learn something about the technics which are necessary to produce a stage production. You also can try some costumes or watch the ballet dancers during a rehearsal. At 4 pm the opera director Donald Runnicles and his wife, Adelle Eslinger, play piano for four hands in the Foyer, at 6 pm you can join the singers of the awarded choir of the Deutsche Oper. In the evening the Opening Concert at 7 pm presents highlights of the music history. Don't forget to let your kids join the children program!
PS: Perhaps you can spot an actively participating PTA kid around 4 pm :-)
